What does 2022 hold for TKNZ.gg?

Before we go away to spend some quality time with family for the holidays, the TKNZ team reflected on our progress and what’s yet to come.

We thought it’s high time we share it with the world. So, here it goes!

The launch

Since we are yet to launch our Beta, it makes sense to start there.

As you probably know, we are building our NFT platform on the Flow blockchain.
We chose Flow because of its benefits when it comes to building NFT projects and marketplaces. It is also an extremely efficient and environmentally-friendly blockchain, something we care deeply about.

Right now, we’re hosting a special pre-launch giveaway (don’t miss out).
The launch party is set for early Q1 2022 and the initial Beta functionality will cover:

Minting NFTs
NFT packs and drops
User profiles with wallet and collections
Easy sharing

Next steps

Our next step will be adding a peer-to-peer card trading functionality and a platform-wide Marketplace, as well as launching data capture capabilities.

The following wave of updates will aim to bring more excitement and dynamism to the platform, making it even more fun to our users. We can’t reveal all the details but we can drop some teasers:

Individual challenges to enable users to earn rewards
User portals to allow seamless sharing across the most popular platforms
Levels to track and reward dedicated users

In early 2022 we will introduce our very own platform token. It will be called…. TKNZ, of course. Expect a lot more details about this in the coming weeks. Right now, we can only point you to our tokenomics document.
The TKNZ token will trigger several extra value scenarios for our users and make the TKNZ platform an even more exciting place.

Multi-chain future

TKNZ is, by design, a multi-chain platform and project. We will start integrating with additional blockchains in 2022 for both the TKNZ NFTs and the platform token. Our plan is for TKNZ partners and users to have the ability to choose where they want their assets to be used.

And while you will be able to enjoy the TKNZ cards on different blockchains, we will continuously work on improving the user experience. The subsequent wave of feature release will include:

Esports events calendar and events archive
Enriching cards with additional players and team metadata
Creator tools for our partners, including direct integrations between popular creator platforms and the TKNZ platform
Partner spaces and tools enabling hosting exclusive content and events
Cooperation features allowing team collections and rewards

TKNZ Super Powers

One exclusive feature we are already developing is NFTs with added utility.
We will gradually release more information about the TKNZ cards utility and further develop their features and functionalities.
We’ll stop here for now but one thing we want you to know is their internal code name is TKNZ Super Powers for a reason 😉

Beyond Beta

Additionally, we are exploring opportunities to integrate the TKNZ NFTs (both packs and cards) with other esports (gaming, training, tournament) platforms and thus bring us even closer to the players.

Oh, and more thing, we are also working on a few in-platform game ideas unique to the TKNZ world. Still early days but we are very confident you will love them!

We will bring you regular updates on the roadmap as we go. Hope all of the above makes you as excited as it makes us! 2022 will be a good one 😎
