Why is being innovative so hard? Sometimes it feels like it’s just not natural to look at the world in a unique way. What we end up doing most of the time is pursuing innovation for innovation’s sake and that’s the best way to never achieve it.
The TKNZ team has one core belief — we want to create value. In every meeting we ever have, we always challenge each other to see how a proposition creates additional benefit. For the team, for the user, for our partner, to commit to a plan, we need it to be loaded with value and have a meaningful impact.
Combine that with a genuine passion for building a happy and healthy community and you might just get an idea worthy of being called an innovation.
The NFT space is a considerably new field, and you might think “This is the place to innovate!”. We do too. The team’s intention is to shake things up and break away from what is quickly becoming the traditional way to create NFTs. And we know how to get there — by designing with value in mind.
We look at NFT technology as a great opportunity to re-imagine how creators engage with fans. That relationship is never static. At least it shouldn’t be. That’s why we shape our NFT solutions to be constantly evolving and something to experience.
Speaking of evolving…
The holders of the TKNZ first ever NFT drop, The Explorers, experienced the first stage in a multi-phase adventure just yesterday. The LIVING NFTs, as the team calls them, are unlocked by a simple action. All the user needs to do is to change their avatar on the TKNZ.gg platform. Doing so materialises an additional NFT asset. Now each time the owner changes their avatar, so does the asset.
Our technical team were extremely quick to make this idea a reality. And just when we thought they couldn’t get any cooler, they decided to publish the code as an open-source repository on Github so everyone who wants to can make use of it. This is coming in a few days.
This experience, and more like it that we’re yet to reveal, get us excited and even more committed to bringing NFTs with a twist to our users.
Adding a living element to NFTs is definitely something we are going to play with more in the future. This first experiment has proven a success as evident by the engagement within our community.
We see the living NFTs are being shared on different platforms, used as avatars, and talked about with excitement — the TKNZ team couldn’t be happier.
Innovation can be a daunting task when you have nothing to step on to reach it. We are focusing on our love for community building and creating meaningful digital collectibles.
